Welcome to the BCS Ottawa Section

Welcome to the coolest (or should that be the coldest?) outpost of BCS in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

When its members aren't busy Enabling the Information Society, the Section provides a local forum in which BCS members can meet and get involved. The Section's aim is to forge closer links between local members, and to try and ensure that they receive some value from their BCS membership.

We have a LinkedIn group for discussion and networking — the BCS Ottawa LinkedIn Group. If you are a BCS member who is in the Ottawa area (or would like to be there) please join it.

Southerners from Upper Canada (Toronto area) may wish to join the BCS Upper Canada Section.

Upcoming Meetings

With the exception of Annual General Meetings and social events, our meetings are normally open to the public.

Please register for an event in advance if there is a Register link next to it so we can make sure you have a seat, and so that we can notify you if there is a late change in the arrangements.
