The desire for immediate access and connectivity has driven significant breakthroughs
within the networking arena on several fronts. In the wireless domain there are several
technologies at play in this regard and the main buzz is the expected migration from 2.5G/3G
networks to 4G capable Networks. What are the drivers for this? What is the expected migration path?
There is always a user-side motivation and demand for these advances.
The second part of the presentation (a video replay) will focus on
the main factors that are driving the need for more advance and intelligent
IT systems as a whole. What will the future network have? Areas covered will
be video conferencing, virtual teams, call centers and all layers of the information
technology network that encompasses both wired and wireless.
Are we driving convergence or divergence? Come along to get the answers.
